This one comes recommended by an old friend who recently went. She described a mixed reality use of VR and puzzle solving, one that involved the whole team being immersed at once.

Escape Key Room

One of the newer escape room to pop up of late, Escape Key currently features two rooms--The Mystery of Senator Payne and Casino and both are clever and fun. The owners come from the Russian school of escape room design, yet there's a focus on story, particularly in Payne that is reminiscent of what's usually thought of as an American design style.

The creators of Mobile Escape Room have converted a bus into an escape experience. Would be escapees have two options: book time with the bus at it's regular haunt or rent it out for an event. There's a two hour minimum on the later option.
The Headlands Gamble

As you can probably tell from the price, this is a lot more than an escape room. The Headlands Gamble is a weekend long theatrical adventure that puts a pair of sleuths (you and your partner) on a two day long investigation set amongst some of the Bay Area's most beautiful locales.
